Na Pokiʻi awards open

The Na Poki'i Hawaiian Scholars Graduate Program seeks to motivate and encourage qualified Hawaiian students to pursue advanced degrees at the master or doctoral level or in the School of Medicine or the School of Law. The program offers scholars a money grant. The scholarship award program is in effect now and the deadline for submission of all application materials is May 15. The Na Poki'i program is supported by the Kamehameha Schools/Bishop Estate. Its purpose is to recognize Hawaiian students who have been accepted into a degree program and to provide financial assistance to those students who ean show financial need. The program seeks to encourage Hawaiian students to apply for and pursue graduate degree programs at universities within Hawai'i. The Na Poki'i scholarship award is a money grant to a classified graduate student attending an accredited university, graduate or professional school in the state of Hawai'i.
