Preservation Council The OHA Native Hawaiian Historic Preservation Council is accepting applications now through Nov. 15 to fill five positions on the eouneil for terms whieh will expire December 1995. Members serve without compensation but are entitled to travel expenses and other actual expenses associated with the offieial business of the eouneiL The eouneil advises the OHA Board Trustees on all matters relating to

histonc preservation. Individuals wishing to be eonsidered for appointment to the eouneil may request an applieation form by calling OHA at 5941888 (neighbor islanders may eall 1-800-468-4644, extension 41888) or by writing to: Native Hawaiian Historic Preservation Council, Office of Hawaiian r Affairs, 711 Kapi'olani Blvd., Suite 500, Honolulu Hawai'i 96813. Forms must be received by OHA by Nov. 15, 1995. Anyone who has previously completed a eouneil application

form may reactivate it by sending in a letter indicating their desire to be considered again. The eouneil will conduct personal interviews at its December 1 995 meeting.
