Kahiko or tahito?

After researching the ancient Hawaiian language (pre-mission-ary) for about 10 years, the fact is that there never was the letter "1" but rather the letter "r" in the Hawaiian language. Every European who recorded the language up until about 1822 used the "r" because that's what it rightfully is. Hawaiian language eame predominately from two sources. They are Tahitian and Hivan, and both of those languages don't use the letter "1" but "r." In fact, there is no eastern Polynesian language that I know of that uses the letter "1." So my question is why do some Hawaiians continue to defend the missionaries changing the language by removing the "b", "r", "d", "v" and "t"? I will henceforth speak Hawaiian the way my tahito (ancient) ancestors did, whieh is by using the letters "b", "r", "d", "v" and "t"! For those who are going to write in attacking me, I would say don't take my word for it but go to the library and research it for yourselves! Havaii Ta-Umu-Arii Via lnterent
