The Nightingales Visit Pele. Tho Missos Albu and manager Pluukett returned from Hawaii this moruitig a)ter a visit to Hilo aud to the Volcano. The party enjoycd their trip verv uuieh. although,the weather wae raost misor.ible. The rain in Hilo seems to l>e as copious as iu Ilonolulu. The volcano was veiy active, aml presented a highly intereetiug sj>ectacle. Mr. Plunkett sj eaks in the highest terros of the treutment whieh they received from tho hands of the genial mau ger of tke Volc«no Hoise. Mr. Poter I.oe. There were si\(een tourists staying at the hotel,audthe accorainod«tions were found excellent. On Satunlay night the famous singers gave a conoert in Hilo. Mr. Wilson made the fatest time ou reconl from the volcano to Hilo to enahle the ladies to be on time for tho concert. He covered the distauce iu 5 hours and 40 miuutes. The concert to»>k plaee iu the Court llouse whieh kindiy bad been placed at tbe disposition of the singers by Sheritl Williams, and the house was fully {>acked. Tho audience highly appreciated the eoncert whieh was. as coold be e\|>ecte«l, a great success. The Misses Albu are lood in their praises of the hospitalitv aud courtesies extended to then bo the Uilo resideuts. Th< gifted vocalists will leave foi California by the Australi«, ane will not give auy more coucerb in Uouolulu.
