By the next mail we will hear some news that will be delightful to us all. When are we going to have the extra session ? I presume when the clouds roll by. Delegate Wilcox has been to New York, spending his vacation, and today he was to arrive in Washington, D. C. When is the Governor going to call an extra session to appropriate some funds to carry out the necessities of this Territory? Prince Kalanianaole was nominated by the Home Rulers last Thursday night at .Foster Hall, for member of the Legislature, to succeed the late Archibald F. Gilfillan. What are we going to do about our roads and bridges? Must they be left in their present condition? If so thsre will be a good many accidents and deaths hereafter. Delegate Wilcox's cartoon is a dandy and we will send it up by the next mail to the members of Congress, to let them see how childish the missionary organ is in the Territory of Hawaii. Tremendous bargains at the shoe store. What shoe store? Why, at the Busy Corner, of course. Also a big cut in prices and interesting guotations to buyers of children's and ladies' and gentlemen's shoes. They are at a bargain. Don't forget to call on them, as this is their reception day. Corner of Hotel and Fort streets. We do not see why the missionary organ makes so many cartoons of Mr. Pain. He does not bother anybody. He only has cars that conveys you all, you ungrateful beings. You people never kicked till the electric cai 5 came in sight. Now they are the real thing. But when rainy .weather appears the Pain cars take the cake. We are sorry that we are not a conductor. We would make yo' t all walk in the rain and storm, as the Pain cars are not good erough to carry yon you swells-of-the-highest. But all we can say is that the Pain cars will never give in, till the next Legislature, when he will have his beautiful electric cars running. The Home Rule party will support his bill, and don t you forget it. Mr. Pain had his clectric cars here first, so we do not see why lit* should not have them running.
