Testifying on the bdry of Kawaihae 2, Kalualukela k. refers to "the bdry of Waipio, at a pool of water called Ulu, at the foot of the waterfall, but the bdry [of Kawaihae 2] runs along the top of the pali above the falls; leaving the pali at the head of Waipio valley the bdry runs toward Waimanu." (p.74) Two other witnesses refer to the pool. That portion of Kawaihae is now in Puu Kapu. Paaoao testified for Waipio: "thence along the brow of the pali [from Kilohana] to Ulu. From here...Waipio runs up to Waihoolana." (p.112)
