"A further subdivision within the okana is the poko." (Malo) LCAw 781 to Alex. M. Birch contains "...two ilis of land known by the names of ʻHalelena' and ʻHananui,' situated in the ahupuaa [sic, poko] of Napoko... " Claim no. 3457 by Kamaka is for the ahupuaʻa "Polipoli i Napoko", returned by Lunallilo at the Māhele. Claim no. 3275-G by Kamai is for the ʻili "Kuunahawelu i Napoko". At the Māhele, Lunalilo received the ahupuaʻa "Kapoino a me na Poko o Waiehu". Na Poko thus includes the ahupuaʻa Polipoli and Kapoino as well as the ʻili Halelena and Hananui, all within the land called Waiehu (q.v.), which fits Malo's description of an area less than an okana but more than an ahupuaʻa. King 1935:215 erroneously includes Wailuku and Waikapu in Na Poko: those lands are identified in the Māhele Book as being in Puali Komohana (q.v.), not in Na Poko.
