Returned by Ke, retained by aupuni at Māhele. In a letter from A. Paki to the Minister of Interior, dated 1854 Sept. 30, the husband of L. Konia wrote regarding the "ili aina in Keei named Hale o Lono...called ʻKipu' in the Mahele, and given to Government by Ke[kuhaupio] in error..." By its Resolution 5 on 27 March 1855, the Privy Council ordered "that the Minister of Interior settle between the land of L. Konia and the Government at Haleolono in Keei... and having done that which is just and right, then report to this Council."
