We have been watohing these stoves for tbe past five years. and fiud them the best iron stove sold in this market fc»r tbe aioney. We received last week a lot of wire clcthes-line.s that hold washed clothes without nsing pins. It is a sort of double wire arrangement and the pieces are held in between; the barder the wind blows the tighter the pieces are held to the line. There is absolntely no danger of the clothing being torn as there is nothing sharp abont the line. While the cost ia a tritle greater than rope, this new style will last so mueh !ouger tbat it is eeonomieal to bny the pinless line.

The favorite sewing maehine in auy community is tbe one that does the most for the le*st mouey and whieh rnus the easiest. In the “Wertheim” you have a maehine tbat sews tbree distinct stitches—The Loek, Chain and £mbroidery and rnns easier tban any other maehine, and you pay twenty dol!ars less for it. Eeonomy stand» boldly every side when yon bny a Wertheim. In tncking the ehain stitch is preferable, but in other kinds of work, the loek stitch is the best. If yon bny a maehine that sews the loek, nnless it is a Wertheim, it won’t sew a ehain stitcb. There‘s no particnlar saving in bnying a maehine with bat one stitch, the Wortheira does three and sav«s yon 1ots of tronble and work.
