NEW TOW BOAT IN TROUBLE.

Is Inspected by Customs Officer as Result ;f Anonymous Denunciators. Pain’s launch, the Talula. will not have it all her own way in Honolulu harbor. She has been in the busi ness only a week but her people <!aim that someone has already been doing some underhand work to in jure lh-ir business. On Saturday afternoon the Talula was taken out in the harbor for a trial trip to see if there were any defects in her machinery or steering g ar. Captain Bray was in charge and Jack Evans was in the engine room Albert Durant, the manager of tee new concern, was on deck with Caplain Bray. Everything went well during the cruise, and when th J Talula came back to her berth at the ob flshmarket wharf the men separated

after giving each other mutual congratulations. Shortly after a custom house officer boarded the launch and inquired for the captain. In hi> absence. Durant lesponded to the call, and was asked about the late trip cf the Talula. The inspector required that the licenses of the launch, captain and engineer be showed to him. This was done. Then the inspector went away remarking. as he was leaving the boat, that he would like to know the name of the man who had informed the Collector that the Talula had no license.
