New Springfiield Rifles Have Been Allotted to N. G. H. Companies. The Springfield rifles recently forwarded to the National Guard of Ha waii from Washington were voted to their respective companies at a meet lng of the Board of Officers of the National Guard held at the Bungalow oa Sunday morning. Ten guns will he allotted to each existing- company. It was decided to allot the new Springfield rifles recently s< nt here by the War Department.. ten to each company. It was further decided that the treasurer of each company shall give security or l.oml in the sum of $150 because of the fact that, in the apportionment of funds, the money remains in the hands of each company treasurer until distributed. i
