         "Auhea oukou e o'u mau Alii, ka lahui, a me na makaainana o'u mai na kupuna mai, a me oukou hoi e na haole mai o na aina e mai.  E hoolohe mai oukou:-- Ke hoike aku nei au ia oukou, eia au iloko o ka pilikia mai ua hoohihia wale ia mai me ke kumu ole; no ia mea, ua haawi aku nei au i ke ea o ka aina o kakou.  E hoolohe mai.  Aka, o ko'u noho hoomalu ana maluna o oukou, a me ko oukou mau pomaikai, e mau no, no ka mea, ka laua nei ko'u manao e hoihoiia mai ana no ke ea o ka aina ka nana ponoia ko'u kumu."
