OHA Candidates Run Statewide

Four of the nine seats on OHA's Board of Trustees are up for election this year. The law requires that at least one resident of Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Kauai and Oahu be represented on the board. The remaining four trustees may live on any of the Hawaiian lslands and run "At-Large."

Despite the residency requirements, all candidates, regardless of where they live on, run statewide. ln other words, if you are a registered OH A voter, you may cast one vote for eaeh of the four trustee seats whieh are to be filled this year. On Nov. 6, you will have the opportunity to vote for one At-Large candidate, plus one eaeh from the Big lsland, Kauai and Molokai. This means you have a voice in the election of all four trustees. Those elected will serve four-year terms. V J
