Hawaiian Featured in New Jan. 12 TV Pilot

E Mau Ana Ka Ha 'Aheo or "Enduring Pride" is the title of the first Hawaiian magazine-style television program whieh has been produced for the first time. It airs at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, on KHET Hawaii Public Television. Enduring pride is a 30-minute pilot show hosted by entertainer Karen Keawehawai'i and will include segments on language, culture, history, health and music. If the pi!ot is well received and continues as a week!y program, segments will change eaeh week allowing coverage on a wide variety of stories on Hawaii and the Hawaiian people. The program was made possible with the assistance of the Office of Hawaiian Atfairs, The Kamehameha Schools, Bishop Museum and Aloha Airlines.
