MGF Bus Tours Can Dazzle Visitors

Spend a Saturday or two or all three with Lorin Gill, Moanalua Gardens Foundation Education Director and one of Hawaii's leading naturalists as he visits the moku of Waialua (Wahiawa to Kawailoa) and Ko'olauloa (Pupukea to Ka'a'awa), Ko'olaupoko (Kualoa to Waimanalo), or Wai'anae (Nanakuli to Keawa'ula) and leam about the geography, the names and history of these places, not only on the tours but also at an orientation preceeding all three tours. These tours are especially designed for teachers who want to lead their students on similar field trips, and priority will be given to teachers. The tours will also be opened to the general public, people who want to dazzle their mainland visitors with facts about the island's volcanoes, water supply, plaee names, famous battles and the like.
