Kamehameha I Cloak Last Displayed in '79

The brilliant yellow mamo eloak of Kamehameha I on display with other 'ahu'ula feather cloaks at Bishop Museum's Hawaiian Hall was last exhibited in 1979, and not 80 years ago as stated in the March issue of Ka Wai Ola O OHA from a Museum press release. According to Toni Han, ethnology collections manager for the Museum, the collection will be more frequently rotated to show the public different feather cloaks and to minimize the environmental impact of long-term display on any one eloak.
