Ka Himeni Ana 1989, the seventh annual vocal contest featuring old Hawaiian songs (without amplification) will be held this year at the Hawai'i Theatre, 1130 Bethel St. on Saturday, August 26, at 8 p.m. Enjoy the sweet, melodic singing of Hawaiian music in the old fashioned manner whieh stirs happy memories of days past.
