Paul Lucas of Native Hawaiian Legal Project lecture at the Waianae Public Library on Dec. 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on legal issues related to Hawaiian Home Lands. The Holomua library van will have books, such as the Native Hawaiian Rights Handbook, available for borrowing with a state library card. The Kaho'olawe Traveling Library Exhibit 'will be on display at the U.H. Manoa Hamilton Library from Dec. 2 until the first week of January. Parent-chi!d reading workshops are scheduled for the following Kamehameha Traveling Preschool Sites (KSTPS): KSTPS Pilila'au Park, Dec. 2; Nanakuli Recreation Center, Dec. 5; KSTPS Ma'ili Playground, Dec. 9; KSTPS Makaha Valley Playground, Dec. 12. start at 9:30 a.m. The Remote Regions Project (formerly Books-By-Mail) will visit the Alu Like Ke Ola Pono No Na Kupuna Program (KOPP) in Waimanalo on Dec. 13. with books, videos and special programs to share with the kupuna.
