We are looking for future teachers who want to make a difference in the lives of educationally at-risk and minority children. If you have just heen excepted as a full-time student in the University of Hawai'i's Bachelor of Elementary Education or Professional Degree programs, you may qualify to enroll in PETOM (PreService Education for Teachers of Minorities). Course work, held mostly on the Kamehameha Schools ^5

campus, is taught in small groups with supportive faculty. Observation and field experience takes plaee in selected puhlie and private school classrooms. PETOM is sponsored hy Kamehameha Schtxtls/Bishop Estate, University of Hawai'i College of Education and the Hawai'i State Department of Education. Tuition support is available.
