Alu Like's success story this month is Annamana De Oeampo, an Alu Like graduate and now a competent and motivated secretary. De Oeampo eame to Alu Like for assistance in 1988, attended Maui Community College and took up business and typing courses to become a secretary. She has been with Alu Like, ine. for both classroom and on-the-job training and is now employed with the Maui eeonomie opportunity head start program. A mother of three, De Oeampo is very thankful to Alu Like for all the help she has received. The classroom training program pre-

pared her for the working world and the on-the-job training has given her additional experience to assist in achieving her future goals. With her new training and work experience De Oeampo has become a more productive and ambitious person. She has eome a long way and still wants to go farther. Business classes If you want to start your own business and be your own boss, Alu Like will offer an Entrepreneurship Training Program May 15 at Kahului School on Maui, and August 16

on O'ahu. Subjects covered include business attitude, marketing, organization, financial management and business planning. Maui classes will run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. for six consecutive Saturdays. Anyone interested should eall Rose Mane Duey, Alu Like island representative, at 242-9774 for applications or further information. O'ahu classes begin August 16 and will run 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for seven weeks and will include one week of computer training.
