OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATOR Annual Salary up to $85,302.00 Plus fringe benefits

The Administrator is responsible for carrying out all policies, plans and programs of the Board of Trustees and is responsible for: managing the Office of Hawaiian Affairs staff and programs; establishing and maintaining working relationships with other entities; and for promoting OHA's missions, goals and objectives. Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of professional management experience are required. Fifteen (15) years of professional management experience, including oversight of muhiple areas: fiscal, personnel, programmatic and policy, may be substituted for the bachelor's degree requirement. Experience with govemment relations and legislative process preferred. Applicants must have a strong commitment and dedication to the empowerment of Native Hawaiians and the restoration of Hawaiian culture. Knowledge of and familiarity with Hawaiian services, institutions and organizations is highly desirable.
