Queen's 1895 trial to be revisited during traveling history program

The 1895 trial of Queen Lili'uokalani will eome alive as the Judiciary History Center presents a living history program during January and February. The program will be presented at locations statewide in commemoration of the 100-year anniversary of the trial, in whieh Lili'uokalani was charged with misprision of treason. A play based on transcripts of the trial will be followed by an audience discussion examining issues raised in the trial and their present-day implications.
