Holo Mai Pele, the epie dance drama of Pele and her youngest sister Hi'iaka, will be performed at the Blaisdell Concert Hall on January 10 and 11, 1996 at 7 p.m. The performance recounts the travels of the sisters' family from Kahiki to their settling at Halema'uma'u on the island of Hawai'i. Performed by the renowned Hālau o Kekuhi, under ihe direction of kumu hula Nalani

Kanaka'ole and Pualani Kanaka'ole Kanahele, Holo Mai Pele is comprised of ancient compositions of mele hula and mele oli. The drama highlights the events and experiences that make up one of Hawai'i's foremost literary collections. Tickets will be available at the Blaisdell Center Box Office and the following Connection ticket outlets (service charges apply): On O'ahu - all Jelly's: UH Mānoa Campus Center; MT1 Vacations; Tempo Music Stores; House of Music (Ala Moana); On Maui - Tempo Music Stores.
