Kekemapa (December) 12 - At Volcanoes National Park' Kilauea Visitor's Center, slack key guitarist John Keawe will pay tribute to slack key music and the musicians who have perpetuated this uniquely Hawaiian guitar stryle. Keawe will play a number of his own eompositions as well as selections from some of Hawai'i's finest slack key musicians. For more information eall 967-7 1 84.

24 Native Hawaiian Mass modeled after the first Christmas in Hawai'i celebrated by King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, will take plaee at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 24 at St. Andrew's Cathedral. The Hawaiian choir of St. Andrew's and 'Iolani School choirs will sing. The sermon will be delivered by The Rev. Darrow Kanakanui Aiona. Most of the mass will be in Hawaiian language. All baptized Christians are invited to participate in the Holy Eucharist.
