Kapua, may know of his father's family. William Kapua, Sr. left Hawai'i before he was 18 years old, joined the Navy and then lived in Chicago where he married and later died in 1939. descendants of Manuhoa aka Manuhoa Kuakea, born Nov. 11, 1824 in Kohala. He married Makapiipii aka Kamakapiipii, born Aug. 9, 1826.
