The first day of school is a momentous occasion in every child's life. This fall, the first day of school will be a memorable one for all of Hawai'i. By September 1996, Kamehameha Schools Bishop Estate's first neighbor island elementary schools on Maui and Hawai'i will open their doors to 160 new students. Over its 109-year history, more than 18,000 young ā men ond women have graduated from Kamehameha I Schools. They are Hawaii's community leaders, parents, ■ professionals, tradespeople and kūpuna. Kamehameha ! Schools alumni are your neighbors, co-workers and friends. As KSBE expands its reach with new schools and || preschools throughout fhe state, we'd like to thank the communities we serve for their support and kōkua.
