1997 CRUCIAL ISSUES 1. The Federal Funding of Alu Like and Papa Ola Lōkahi dependent on federal PORK BARREL funding, now in jeopardy. a. No alternate funding was sought by the groups. Inouye says OHA may have to piek up the funding, but is this possible? b. Will OHA have sufficient funds?

e. Why is OHA funding programs for the Alii trusts like KSBE when they are mueh wealthier than we? d. Why does OHA fund a $10 million scholarship program primarily for KSBE graduates, when KSBE has billions of its own funds.
