On Dec. 1 5, Army staff at the Mākua Military Reservation leei members of Mālama Mākua anel leeward community residents on a guided tour of Mākua Valley. Army officials spoke about their ongoing ordnanee removal efforts and their plans to make certain parts of the valley accessible to the eom- \ munity. Environmental Protection Agency officials were also on hand to answer questions about the valley and the Environmental lmpact Statement that is still being prepared by the Army.
