The Richard M. Towill Corporation will hold its 17th Annual Ka Hīmeni 'Ana, an old-fashioned, nahehane-style, unamplified, Hawaiian singing contest, scheduled for Aug. 28., at Hawai'i Theatre. Cash prizes range from $100 - $1,000. Songs performed must be in Hawaiian and must predate 1941. Instruments may include 'ukulele, guitar, string bass and autoharps.
