Learn about what works and why, as well as eommon mistakes and pitfalls to avoid in starting up your new business, at "STARTUP: the Hawai'i Entrepreneurs Bootcamp," OHA's Native Hawaiian Revolving Loan Fund is offer~ ing scholarships to Native Hawaiians for $250 — half the $500 fee for the six-week intensive course, No business background required, OHA has partnered with the UH - Mānoa College of Business Administration to provide business training for entrepreneurs in OHA's NHRLF program, Pacific Asian Center for Entgrepeneurship and E~ Business faculty and success~ ful entrepreneurs will work with bootcamp participants in a fun and interactive hands~on experience that not only intro~ duces ideas and concepts but applies them to potential new ventures, The bootcamp will be led by business experts with backgrounds in entrepreneur~ ship, marketing, information technology, accountancy and angel investment networking and financing strategies, The Pacific Business Center Program will assist Hawaiian business owners in preparing their business plans, PACE will also coordinate a Native Hawaiian business owners organization and website, The bootcamp will be held Saturdays (except July 6) at UH~Mānoa through July 27, For information or to register, callNHLRF staff at 594-1921 or eall 956-5083 or visit www, cba.hawaii.edu/pace, ■
