OHA Board of Trustees visits Kanu O Ka ʻĀina

The OHA Board of Trustees on July 1 6 toured three sites of Kanu 0 Kū 'Āina charter school in Waimea, Hawai'i. The Hawaiian culture-focused charter school, whieh for mueh of its existence has held classes in tents and other temporary structures, is constructing ū permanent site at Kauhale 'Ōiwi 0 Pu'ukapu. Construction is being funded through private financing and government grants, including ū $1 million Level II grant from OHA.
