LCA 1503:2, awarded to Pua'a. • In a parking lot near the intersection of Ward Avenue and Queen Street, within private lands (TMK: 2-3-002:001) and within LCA 387, a large award to the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. Consultation regarding the treatment of the burial sites and the fragmentary human skeletal remains is underway among HRTP, SHPD, the O'ahu Island Burial Council (OIBC), and interested parties, including recognized descendants from the area. The OIBC has jurisdiction in the matter of previously identified Native Hawaiian burials and the proper disposition of burials. Treatment of these burial sites will be determined by the OIBC, in eonsultation with any recognized lineal and/or cultural descendants, per the requirements of HAR Chapter 13-300-33.
