More than 1,100 women in Hawai'i will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Women should have their first mammogram by age 40. Screening mammograms mean early detection and early detection saves lives. Uninsured and underinsured Native Hawaiian women age 40-64 may be eligible for free screenings.
