ment of Transportation, Highways Division (HDOT), in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration, will hold a public information meeting for the Waipilopilo Stream Bridge Replacement Project in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 Nahonal Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966 as amended consultation, and the Chapter 343 Hawai'i Revised Statutes (HRS) draft environmental assessment (DEA) review. The purposes of the meeting are to provide a project update, gather eommunity input per NEPA and consult with Native Hawaiian Organizations and Native Hawaiian descendants with ancestral lineal or cultural ties to, cultural knowledge or concems for cultural religious attachment to the proposed project area pursuant to Section 106 of the NHPA of 1966, as amended (2006), and to gather eomments during the Chapter 343, HRS DEA public review period. There will be a brief presentation of the project and an opportunity to ask HDOT representatives questions regarding the proposed project.
