Setting Him Right.

The famous bill-collector Mr. .J. W. Luuing desires us to stato that he is not the Luning mentioned in our Court-notes of yesterday. as having been “fired out of a saloon.’' The party roferred to is Mr. H. Luning, and a qulte different party from 1 Ornithorynchus. W' e cannot believe that anybody reading our item eoukl for oue minute have imagined th«t it referred to Mr. 1J. W. Luning—that is anybody

i — • u • knowing him. Mr. J. W. Lnning is not to bo fired out anywhere or by anybody —except his bills are paid, aud then he loaves the crowd volantarily, there beiug no more money in it ! for him. We trust that Mr. J. W. Luning’s busiuess reputation has not sutfered by onr report of his name-sake’s little scrape, and we hope he will appreciate our cfforts to set him right, and advertise him gratis.
