The Courts.

The November term of the Circuit Court closed to-day. A large number of cases have been tried and a large number went over till next term. In the only case left against Mr. H. F. Poor a nolle prosequi was entered by the Attorney-General and Mr. Poor is now a free and vindicated man again. In the cases of A. Johnstone and A. Cloys charged with libel no indicments were presented and the cases were dropped. The libel suits against the editors of the Star and of the Holomua will be tried at the next term—pela paha. In the Supreme Court a decision has been filed in the bankruptcy case of W. H. Aldrich in favor of Mr. Aldrich. On Monday next, Mr. F. Wundenberg will appear and answer certain charges made against him by Attorney-General W. O. Smith.
